The commission process is truly a collaboration.  I hear your thoughts, you hear mine.  We come to agreement about place, mood, general logistics.  I then do my job of studying the subject through countless photos (it goes quickly) occasional sketches, and just being open to what’s happening.  Each project,  just as each individual,  is unique.  The painting process unfolds over a period of about 4-8 months.  In the end, you will receive a work of art that features your loved one in a very special way.  To view a glimpse behind the scenes of a portrait, click here.

Prices for a single figure portrait start at $7,000. There are discounts for additional figures.  Only a limited amount of commissions scheduled per year.  Please contact me for further information.
